Google acquires solar-powered drone maker Titan Aerospace
WASHINGTON — Google Inc. has bought the drone manufacturer Titan Aerospace, it said Monday, ramping up its efforts to connect parts of the world that do not have Internet access.
The tech giant said the drones will augment its efforts to use giant helium balloons armed with networking equipment to bring Internet connectivity to remote places.
‘‘Titan Aerospace and Google share a profound optimism about the potential for technology to improve the world,’’ the company said in a statement that was also posted on Titan Aerospace’s website. ‘‘It’s still early days, but atmospheric satellites could help bring Internet access to millions of people, and help solve other problems, including disaster relief and environmental damage like deforestation.’’

The ongoing patent trial between Apple and Samsung has provided a treasure trove of internal documents that let outsiders finally get an idea of how each company thinks of the competition.
Last week, Samsung brought out a document put together by an Apple sales team that showed how the iPhone-maker thinks about its competition with Android, among other evidence used in cross-examination.
How to minimize uncertainties while working on a business idea
Entrepreneurship is now the order of the day. The world’s richest men are entrepreneurs and many are still evolving on daily basis. Many of them were either known to have built their own ideas or developed an already existing idea. Coming across a new business idea is not obviously easy and that’s the reason most people would rather settle for developing an already existing one. But if you are lucky enough to be in possession of an idea that is uniquely yours then I’m sure you must have worked for it. The luck that I was referring to, of course implies opportunity meeting hard work. Ideas do not just drop from heaven; there must at least be some brain exercise that preceded it such as brainstorming.
When working on a business idea, there are lots of uncertainties that can get you worried. Of course the idea is still new and you are not sure if it will work out the exact way that you have conceived it. It’s absolutely normal because this situation is not peculiar to you. Numerous successful business people that have worked on one business idea or the other have had similar experience. But the good news is that you can minimize all the uncertainties and work more freely at achieving your business plan.
